Overcoming Life Obstacles

Sharon was one of the first people to arrive at the Once-A-Month Church, she was homeless and living on the street.  She soon had an apartment of her own and food in the refrigerator.  Sharon has continued to grow in her independence and wellness.  She touches others with love and has even helped some on the street with food.  She is always ready to volunteer when she's needed during our outreach meetings and today she is one of our Hospital Care Angels in visiting and praying for those who are sick or in the hospital.  Sharon has also had perfect attendance each year at our Streets of Gold Leadership Program workshops since we began in June 2010.
